Making home-made snacks does not always have to be an arduous task! The staples are simple, oats, eggs, milk and a few little extras to snaz it up a bit… We used this particular flavour Whey because it tasted absolutely INCREDIBLE! (Like Nutella sans the guilt!) However, dont fret! Use whichever flavour you may have lurking around your cupboard, the chocolate chips will sweeten your oaty bars right up!
Ingredients:
1.5 Cup Gluten-Free Quick Cook Oats
2 Scoop Bulkpowder’s Informed Whey in Chocolate Hazelnut Biscuit
5 Egg Whites
3/4 Cup Koko Coconut Milk
4 Better Stevia Drops
1 Tbsp Cashew Butter
1 Tsp Coconut Oil
15g + 15g Chocolate Chips
1 Tsp Baking Powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to approx 170 degrees.
In a bowl mix all your ingredients as you so wish and in whichever order you prefer, except for the 2nd 15g of chocolate chips.
Spread your batter into your preferred silicone mould or baking tray (we used a large square one) and then sprinkle the remaining of your choc chips over it.
Bake for approximately 15-20mins until golden and cooked throughout. Stick a sharp knife in the middle if you are not sure, if tip comes out with wet mix then bake for a little longer.
Remove from oven and leave to cool. (You can pop in fridge for a speedier transition from oven to your tastebuds.)
Cut up 12 pieces, *gobble* 11 pieces and enjoy.
Great inexpensive treat/snack to prepare beforehand, that the whole family can enjoy.
