Protein Wraps (Low-Carb & Gluten/Dairy-Free)

Protein Wraps

For anyone looking to avoid carb-filled store bought wraps, this is a great alternative. Made with a few ingredients and perfect to consume immediately or the next day. We like to think of them of savoury (glorified) pancakes. Here’s how:

Ingredients:
5 Egg Whites
1/3 Scoop Brown Rice Protein
1 Tsp Garlic Salt
1 Tsp Mixed Herbs
Sprinkle of salt & pepper

Directions:
Whisk together your ingredients (vigorously) in a jug or bowl.

Heat up a non-stick skillet/pan on medium heat, (you may choose to use oil or not, depending on your dietary requirements) we used a 1/4 tsp coconut oil.

Then, pour your batter and make as you would pancakes, making sure your batter reaches the edges of the pan to achieve a round shape, flipping over as necessary.

Once done on both side, place onto a plate to allow cooling.

Recipe yielded 4 large wraps, however depends the size of the pan that you use.

Protein Wraps

Proceed to fill with your favourite filling (our fridge was slightly empty so ham it was), however, you can go as crazy as your tummy desires.
