The combination of almond and banana is one that is praised by the gods themselves… if you have tried it… you know this to be true!
So, we made this delectable combination using exactly those ingredients and it was DIVINE! Fresh out the oven… it was warm… crumbly… buttery… all things dreamy!
3 Tbsp Coconut Oil*
1 Tbsp Bulkpowder’s Vanilla Almond Butter
1 Mashed Banana
2/3 Cup Ground Almonds
1.5 Scoop Bulkpowder’s Banana Fudge Hydrobeef
½ Tsp Butterscotch Extract
1 Tbsp Natural Bee Pollen
Pre-heat oven to approx. 180 degrees.
Melt your coconut oil, *you can use less amount if you want to adjust your macros, just bear in mind it will be less ‘buttery’ towards the end.
Then, add your almond butter and banana and mix that thoroughly, followed by butterscotch essence, then, the rest of the ingredients.
Pour your mix into 2 small ramekins or 4 mini ones. (Depending on how much you want to devour in one go.)
Pop in the oven for approximately 20 minutes or until baked golden over the top.
Wait till it has cooled down a little (but still hot enough to eat without burning your tongue) and enjoy the sublime taste of this treat!
Recipe yielded 4 mini crumbles*

*NOTE: Don’t fancy a crumble? Make cookies instead! The very same mix can be used as cookie dough,
simply pour spoonful’s of batter onto a silicone mat and bake away. Then, pop in a fridge or freezer
to harden up a little before eating! Makes approx. 8 cookies!

BULKPOWDERS ALMOND BUTTER
This nut butter, unlike a lot of Almond Butter’s out there stays creamy right up to the very end. It has a very delightful Vanilla taste, not overpowering or fake which makes it great on it’s own or for baking and protein treats.
(Our one was from a local stall in Sierra Nevada, Granada.)
This was an item that kept staring at us from the shelf, unaware of how to use it! One day we made frosted cupcakes and sprinkled them over it, they not only made them look pretty but gave them a sweet kick.
On its own the taste is inexplicable, a bit sour at first, but then sweet once you keep munching. A great sweet alternative in baking, and also tastes great sprinkled in yoghurt or oats.
Banana Fudge Flavour
This flavour completely blew us away, being a protein made from beef, as you can imagine… you expect the very worst! But it has since become a big favourite in the MB pantry.
It is a tricky one to bake with, but works superbly in cookies, smoothies and of course our Banoffee Crumble!
