Our latest obsession? CHIA SEEDS! We have been adding them to EVERYTHING! They are so versatile and go great with absolutely anything, in this case providing crunch (and goodness) to this delicious nut butter, high protein spread.
50g Almond Butter (or nut butter of choice)
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil (Melted)
1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp Granulated Sweetener of choice
1/3 Scoop Beef Protein
1 Tsp Chia Seeds
½ Tbsp Chocolate Liquiflav
Mix together melted coconut oil and almond butter, if the oil is hot it will be easier to mix in with the butter.
Proceed to add the remaining ingredients in no particular order and mix well.
Then smother your favourite toast with it or add to some tasty proats.
Chia seeds are high in Omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, antioxidants, minerals and protein as well as being a great egg-replacer in recipes AND they are Gluten-Free!
The crunch from the chia seeds really adds the final touch to this spread.
Recipe yields 3 servings.
