*insert long and boring paragraphs about what inspired me to make these burgers*
In short: i fancied some, i made them. So heres the recipe:
Ingredients:
1000g chicken mince
1-2 Tbsp BBQ seasoning (I use Mercadona brand)
2 Tbsp BBQ sauce
1/4 Cup Tamari (or soy/ liquid aminos)
1 Tbsp Mixed Herbs
1 Tsp Garlic Salt
Handful sautΓ©ed kale
Method:
In a bowl, mash all the ingredients together until combined.
Roll into balls, this mix made 8 chunky burgers to be exact.
Then keep refrigerated until you want to make them or make and store.
I pan-fried them with low-cal spray oil and kept them in tuppas for grab and go meals for the week.
Nutritional info (per burger patty):
188 cals | 5.3F | 3.7C | 16.3P
Tip: Don’t like bbq? Use different seasonings/ sauces instead… or just add a little more tamari to the mix instead of the sauce.
